Study Groups

CBAP and CCBA Study Groups

To support the continuing education of our members, IIBA Denver provides CBAP and CCBA certifcation study groups several times a year. Study group participation is included with your membership in IIBA Denver.  Chapter membership is required for participation. The IIBA Denver study group sessions normally meet the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 pm.  We meet together through our web conferencing facility, so there is no need to drive anywhere to join in!  Our goal is to cover the complete BABOK  in preparation for taking the CBAP exam.

Sessions consist of a review of BABOK content and group discussion to resolve specific questions.  We will also try to have someone who has passed the CBAP exam attend at least some of our sessions to provide insights on the content for each session, and general advice on passing the test. Give yourself, your company and your clients a huge benefit by getting certified. Hope to see you there! It's more fun doing it as a group!

Primary content will be the IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), available to IIBA members on the IIBA website (  You may be interested to include additional personal study of a separate study guide such as the “CBAP Certification Study Guide (2nd Edition)” by Watermark (Available on Amazon) that covers each BABOK chapter and includes an exam simulation.

Please Note: We anticipate that Spring 2016 will be our last series using BABOK v2.0.  The Fall 2016 schedule will be announced later this year.
