While process modeling has been around for decades, it is still a critical tool to have in your BA tool kit. In this presentation, the speaker will explain how process modeling is still relevant even in an agile world. She will also give an introduction to the industry standard Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) - a technique she has used successfully for several years.
Margaret is CBAP and PMI-ACP, certified with over 30 years of IT experience in business analysis in retail, transportation, logistics, healthcare, and higher education. She has been modeling business processes since the beginning of her career. She has presented at BBC 2017, BBC 2018, IIBA Atlanta and Denver chapter meetings. She is a Senior IT Business Analyst at University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado.
Costs: First time guests are welcome without charge, and that IIBA Denver Chapter membership* includes attendance at general meetings. We ask that non-members provide $12 to cover essentials for the evening. Currently we are able to accept cash while we actively investigate other options. See you there!
