Topic: Influence Without Authority
Speaker: Grant Warden, CSM, PMI-ACP, IIBA-AAC
It is our pleasure to welcome Grant Warden as our presenter for November. Grant has had an agile career path and a lot of opportunity to influence without having formal authority. He started as a Financial Planner and National Trainer. Then he took a detour and taught English for 3 years in Germany. After returning to the US, Grant began another career in the mortgage industry, eventually serving as a Business Analyst documenting business operations and requirements.
In 2015, Grant started pursuing Agile methodologies, finding that that its focus on rapid delivery and maximum value resonated with him. Since then, he has been focused on Agile change management and leadership transformation. Grant serves as a full-time ScrumMaster and Agile Coach and he actively participates in the Denver area Agile communities. He has a passion mentoring and collaborating with others.
You can also find Grant in the wide Colorado outdoors for his other passions - road cycling and bagging Colorado 14ers one at a time.
